David Hockney 25: A Landmark Moment in Contemporary Art

The 'David Hockney 25' exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris ran from April 9 to August 31, 2025, attracting 916,614 visitors. It was the largest exhibition of Hockney’s work to date, showcasing over 400 pieces spanning his career from 1955 to 2025.

At Modo Gallery in Cambridge, we are proud to exhibit a curated selection of Hockney’s iPad works, bringing a slice of this monumental exhibition to our independent gallery.

Experience Hockney’s iPad Works

Hockney’s iPad creations translate his iconic use of color, composition, and light into a digital format, capturing landscapes, portraits, and intimate studies with remarkable vibrancy. These works highlight how Hockney continues to experiment with technology, merging classical techniques with modern digital media. At Modo, visitors can explore these pieces up close, appreciating the dynamic brushwork, layered colors, and innovative approach that define Hockney’s iPad art.
